Our partners from Cyprus, Hub Nicosia made a new video for the 6 steps to participation in civic and democratic processes initiative which will be implemented in their country. 6 steps to participation in civic and democratic processes initiative training scheme aims to propose a methodological approach to both promote active participation among underrepresented young people and engage various stakeholders/ policymakers in constructive dialogue and action with young people. All in all, it is an active learning process which aims to foster changes in our society, it is a problem-based learning process which encourages young people to ask questions, reflect on issues that affect their lives and explore the complexity of real world’s situations. You can find more info behind this initiative on different languages here.

New videos on English and French language are created by our partners from France, Pistes Solidaries for the Silent Debate initiative that will start to be implemented from June.
The Silent Debate aims at giving youngsters the opportunity to express themselves on several current topics by learning how to debate and exchanging between each other and policy makers. You can find more info behind this initiative on different languages here.

Last week our partners from Norway, Agder, had a speech at the important Latgale congress in Latvia on a topic of public participation, where our project NEUEYT was featured related to youth participation and democracy. The congress takes place every 5 year and is an important event to discuss the development of the Latgale region. NEUEYT was presented as a “best-practice”-example of public participation.

The congress was opened by the president of Latvia the day before . Agder are partners with the region on an economical development program and they contribute with expertise on entrepreneurship. The event was visited by mayors and decision makers from the Latgale- region, and we are glad that they had a chance to hear more about our project and the initiatives. New video is created and its now live for the We and Us Panel iniative that will be implemented by the leader Glocal Factory.
This designed initiative pursues the aim of sustaining youngsters in giving proper wording to their needs, to display them to the right object (policy makers and stakeholders). You can find more info behind this initiative here.

Voice up is an activity aimed at exploiting creativity of youngsters between the ages of 13 to 25 in two topics: their city and their school. Participants will design their future school and city, visualize an innovative and open society, engage with politicians and stakeholders.
